Thank you so much for sharing this! I relate on so many levels but you’ve also encouraged me to think differently. I need time to process all of this!! X
💯 Your description of the slow crumble is so accurate! I loved flipping the narrative on envy, that feeling of collaboration is super rewarding and actually just nice - especially when on the daily you work by yourself.
Thanks Amie! I won't lie that flip in mindset was pretty transformative. Makes such a difference and just makes you feel good too! I'm also finding that changing the way I use social media helps with this…using it as a tool instead of spending hours on it…but that's a whole other convo 😂
Interesting re social media, maybe I need to take that approach. I'm struggling with social media at the moment feeling very disconnected and disinterested, which is clearly not ideal when trying to build a business!
I totally understand, I have always had a love-hate relationship with Instagram and found it pretty detrimental to my mental health. But one thing that really helped me was using it in a way that works for me, and not for the algorithm and if that means less likes then that's ok. I try and use it as a shop window to get people to another platform that I actually enjoy using and get more out of...Substack! But that could also be your website or a personal blog. I've found this shifts the focus away from social media and onto a place/platform where I can be more me and add more value.
Hi Charlotte, beautiful post as always, and as someone who is also still trying to find her way, this was comforting and very much needed. Thank you for sharing and stay strong 🫶
This resonates a lot with me too in the travel writer/creator/planner industry. Not to mention, Italy. It all feels so saturated and yet that shouldn't be a reason not to share.. but it's definitely important to reframe things and know why we're doing something to begin with!
Lesson 2 resonates so much with me. At 45 now, I am seeking for meaning and a more intentional second half of my life. You are always so thoughtful. Thank you for sharing this so personal piece, Charlotte. Love following you!
Love this Patricia! I feel like finding and embracing what works for us is soo important regardless of the distractions and set backs. So glad this piece resonated x

I'm so glad it resonated Becks! Lots of big feelings and emotions within this, and I'm definitely still working on all of them!
I loved this reading! Never stop trying and never forget about WHY you started! 💪🏻 🔥 ♥️

100%! Sometimes I feel like the low points are inevitable but it's about realigning with ourselves and always coming back to our own path 🤍
The honesty and kindness in your writing is beautiful:) I relate so much with your words and your journey. I will be reading all about my ‘why’.
Miss C ♥️ Thank you for the comfort:)
