Hey Charlotte! Thanks for sharing your house hunting adventures. Your virtual career tour sounds so great! I wonder, would you be open to writing a guest post about it for us at Home Abroad?
Also, I'm building a database of Substackers who live and write from abroad, so I would love to include you. Let me know if you would rather be left out!
Love the silver decor, I recently thrifted a lovely Medieval-esque pewter creamer for my apartment, and I’m excited to see how the silver accent will look in the kitchen 🩶
I went to Vietnam in what feels like million (maybe 10) years ago and loved every bit. So much to discover and explore. Especially Hue was a cute little town we spent a few days in after tripping through the country. Would go back anytime. Best food, relaxed vibes and not too full - at least back then.
Yes we did a trip to Hanoi, Ha Long Bay with a couple days on a boat through the islands, Hue and Hoi An - was a great mixture but also some time ago. So can imagine it changed quite a bit 🥲 and we went by train mostly.

Ooo that sounds gorgeous! Did you find it at a mercatino? I love the smaller silver pieces and also love mixing metals 😍
I found it at a new (to me) thrift store in my hometown 🥰🥰 and she’s a beaut ~ trying to fill my home with old antique pieces
Love this! Making a home piece by piece :)

Did not make it to Cambodia or Laps yet though.
Hoi An, not Hue 🤣
Ah this is sooooo good to hear, as I've heard such mixed reviews! Did you go to Hanoi? Did you travel across the whole of Vietnam?

So missing the south part basically.
Awesome, I'll take a look at all these places. Thank you for sharing 🤎
